22 May Age limit drops for Australian Skilled Migration
More changes for Australian visa eligibility:
From 1st July, the age limit for Australian skilled migration will drop to 45. This will only apply (so far) to the independent skilled subclass 189 visa. It will not apply to state, territory or regional nominated visas such as the subclass 190 and subclass 489.
The change will apply to new applications made from 1st July 2017 and will not affect applications that have already been lodged, or that are lodged prior to 1st July.
This follows on from the recent changes to the Employer Sponsored permanent visa subclass 186 (direct entry), which also had its age limit cut to 45. This will only apply to applications lodged from 1st July 2017.
There are many changes occurring in the Australian visa programme right now, so sign up for our webinars and join our Facebook group to keep up to date on the changes as they occur.
